My podcast team uses zencastr to record, the apple music program (is it garageband?) for editing and anchor to host. All basic..it’s a hobby project.

Probably the question is whether you are all alone or interviewing people - and thus need a setup allowing for safe recordings over distance. (Maxwell Davis has had this experience lately when he was interviewed and the recording didn’t work)

riverside is good as well asfaik but zencastr has or had at least a better free tier

hosting is done using redcircle also on the free tier, works all very well
