It depends on your newsletter metrics and, the vertical your targeting for sponsors. The easier it is for your potential sponsors to reach their target audience (e.g. Marketing SAAS) the more impressive your metrics have to be in order to charge a rate that is worth it. However, if you are targeting a vertical where your sponsors have a difficult time reaching their target audience you can have less impressive metrics and charge a rate that is worth it.
